Youth Sports at the Y
Sports are an excellent way for kids to stay active throughout the year! Our youth sports programs focus on fostering teamwork, discipline, and physical fitness while providing a fun and inclusive environment for kids of all skill levels. Through engaging coaching and a variety of sports, we aim to build confidence and develop essential life skills in young athletes.
We offer sports at both our Framingham Branch and our Outdoor Center in Hopkinton.

Summer Swim Team
Our Stingrays Swim Team is a recreation-based, fun-first team for ages 6-13, comprised of swimmers who are new to competitive swimming and just getting their feet wet! We practice throughout the summer, leading up to the MetroWest Summer Swim League and Championships!
The 2026 season will run from June 16 through August 8. Practices will be on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 7:00 pm at the MetroWest YMCA Outdoor Center in Hopkinton.
Hopkinton Summer Day Camp: Sports Specialty Camp
The Hopkinton Summer Day Camp offers three sports specialty cap programs that combine a half-day focus on sports and the other half with traditional camp experiences such as swimming, archery, boating, and nature exploration.
Campers will learn the values of teamwork, fair play, respect, and hard work while being exposed to various sports like soccer, basketball, pickleball, street hockey, lacrosse, and cricket, and more! The focus is on fun, skills, drills, and playing time, where campers will be introduced to athletic training concepts in a fun way.
