MetroWest Boston Marathon Team
We are proud to be a member of the 2025 Bank of America Boston Marathon®. Over the past eight years, our running teams have fundraised to support our programs that address youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.
Our runners all have a connection to our local communities and an understanding of our mission and work.
Run for the Y!
We have 10 invitational entry numbers.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be 18 (or will be on April 21, 2025)
- Able to complete the course in 6 hours
- Confident you can meet the $8,000 fundraising goal
- Complete the MetroWest YMCA application and submit the nonrefundable $25 application fee
Runners will be selected by November 27.
SELECTED RUNNERS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Boston Marathon Registration Fee of $375
- $100 deposit that will be applied to your fundraising goal
- Participation in team training runs and activities
METROWEST YMCA TEAM MEMBERS RECEIVE:
- Individualized personal training, including schedules, running group classes, and group runs
- Injury prevention and safety training
- Fundraising guidance and tools
