School's Out is the MetroWest YMCA’s before and after-school program that nurtures your child’s development
by providing a safe place to learn and grow.
School’s Out serves children in Ashland, Framingham, Hopkinton, Natick, and Wayland.

Our curriculum aligns with your child's school curriculum, reinforcing their academic success and social-emotional learning. Each day includes active play and opportunities for your child to build self-reliance, develop trusting relationships, and cultivate skills like problem-solving.
Children have the autonomy to choose activities, which may include:
- STEM and ELA
- Arts Education
- Physical fitness and nutrition
- Outdoor education and nature conservancy
- Cooking
- 21st Century Skills/ executive functioning
- Global Learning
- Homework support
Our experienced staff fill each day with fun and provide a safe place where everyone belongs. Our educators model the Y values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.
We will help your child to:
- Try new things and gain independence
- Improve academic success and social skills
- Build confidence and self-efficacy
Our schedule runs Monday through Friday with 2,3,4, and 5-day options.
Our after-school program serves children at all locations from school dismissal until 6:00 PM. Our before-school program serves Hopkinton elementary school-aged kids at Marathon School from 7:00 AM until school starts.
